About Us

Cullingworth Pre-School is situated in the heart of Cullingworth village, it began as a playgroup in 1971 and is a member of the Pre-School learning Alliance. We are registered with Ofsted for 30 places, and we are a registered charity. We aim to make welcome all children and their families from the local and wider communities.

Our staff retention is exceptional, some staff members have been working at the Pre-School for almost 20 years. This is a big benefit to your children, they get continuity throughout their time with us and a great deal of experience. Our staff continue to train as part of their job role and are encouraged to develop new skills to help educate your children through their play.

We have a small team of parents that form the Pre-School Management Commitee. These parents also help with our fundraising every year. Please ask us at Pre-School for more information about our Committee and our fundraising team. We would love you to help.

A quick way to help with our fundraising is by using our easy fundraising page everytime you shop.If you already shop at places like Argos, Next, John Lewis etc then simply click the link to our Easy Fundraising page first and we receive a free 15% donation from your sale.

We encourage and support parents to be actively involved in their child's Pre-School learning experience, we welcome parents' views and ideas and we offer the opportunity to help in Pre-School sessions. We are run by a voluntary management committee which is made up of past and present parents. All parents are welcome to join and support the running of the Pre-School by being involved with the production and evaluation of the policies and procedures, staff appointments, financial decisions and fund raising.
